Alternative Transportation Program - Complete

Cost differnce with ATPThe Alternative Transportation Program provides a cost-effective alternative to EMS transportation and ER visits for low-acuity, non-emergency 911 patients. Based on triage results, eligible patients can be transported via cab to a participating clinic or to the ER. This program is a collaboration among the Alliance, City of Houston-HFD, Harris County RIDES, and Local Community Health Centers.

The Rose Community Care Collaborative Project

The project will increase the availability of affordable mammography screenings, diagnostic follow up, and access to treatment for uninsured Greater Houston women providing up to 3,500 mammography screenings.

Collaborative X-Ray Services Project

RESOURCES

x rayThe collaborative x-ray services project will eliminate 2-3 months from wait times that patients currently face when accessing x-ray services as well as reduce transportation barriers. In addition to providing low cost x-rays, the project will also utilize an electronic health records system across participating clinics and electronically forward x-ray results to the patient’s referring provider to streamline the process. Timely access to care will result in earlier diagnosis and treatment of injuries and infections which will lead to better health outcomes.
